Project process

The project management procedure follows a precisely defined process flow and is as follows.

01 Basic research

A fundamental analysis of the current situation is essential for every project. In this early phase, the course is set for a successful project. During the status quo survey, all circumstances are recorded, the facts are meticulously collected and the goals and wishes are worked out in close cooperation with the customer. In addition, the initial situation is substantiated with laboratory tests.

02 IDEA / concept phase

After the basic research, our experienced project managers and process engineers draw up a feasibility study following a selection process. If necessary and depending on the complexity of the industrial plant, we can also call on partner companies and internationally recognized consultants. Once the final concept has been selected and initial estimates of the technical scope of the plant have been made, initial cost and schedule estimates for the investment project are also prepared. 
 

03 Engineering

This area of expertise covers the fields of process engineering, fluid mechanics, thermal engineering and application-oriented material selection. Calculations and simulations are carried out with the aid of high-quality computer programs.

04 Project management

Our projects are handled using one of the most modern project management programs on the market. The program is also constantly adapted to meet today's requirements. As an option, we offer the customer, usually the technical managers, an additional tool that allows the customer to accompany the project from the very beginning. The customer can view the timelines and completed milestones via external access. The customer can also access drawings, schematics and test reports, which means that misunderstandings and errors can be avoided from the outset. 

05 Smart Data Plattform

Together with partners from science and industry, ELKUCH, as consortium leader, is developing a smart data platform with which our employees and partners can carry out forecast- and market-based wastewater management using the data obtained. The platform's task is to bring together large volumes of different data from completed projects. On this basis, tried and tested procedures for optimal project management in the wastewater sector are then designed.
